Elena MOTTOLA
Elena Mottola is a Brussels-based visual artist with over 35 years of experience in mixed-media art. Driven by a continuous exploration of inspiring techniques, she combines diverse materials and artistic processes to develop her creative expression.
Specialising in polymer clay and ceramics, Mottola has made these mediums her primary forms of artistic expression. Precision, meticulous craftsmanship and an exceptional attention to detail are central to her practice.
Her current work focuses on ceramic chess and draughts sets, as well as ceramic compositions inspired by the language of painting. Through these creations, she explores the relationship between artistic form, material and functionality, transforming everyday objects into distinctive works of art.
Having exhibited her collections in both Switzerland and Belgium, Mottola continues to develop her artistic practice through exhibitions and cultural events. Her work reflects a unique combination of technical expertise, architectural sensibility and a lifelong dedication to artistic exploration.
